Capers Guesthouse is boutique accommodation for those wishing to experience a luxury and country charm with traditional service. Elevated over Wollombi Valley your stay with them will be a sanctuary of comfort, peace and privacy with impeccable levels of service.
Built from convict hewn sandstone blocks, authentic markings in the interior walls echo the heritage of the area situated on the Great North Road. The materials were originally part of the dismantled wing of Sydney’s ‘Rum’ hospital on Macquarie Street.
The thoughtfully appointed rooms feature solid sandstone walls and wooden flooring, interwoven by rich tones inspired by the Gleneagles Hotel of Scotland. Rooms within two wings flank around a central lounge and dining area with central double-facing fireplace. All rooms open onto the wide sweeping verandas with views of the valley and gardens.
The five guest rooms feature en suite bathrooms, local eco toiletries, fridge, tea and coffee.
