It is situated in the perfect location, as you can sit on the front veranda and still see the kids while they are at the tennis courts and kids playground while relaxing on the front veranda, you even get glimpses of the lake.

Sleeping up to 6 guests, this well-maintained home features 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. There is a loft upstairs which has 2 single beds and additional TV. The kitchen has been upgraded and features a dishwasher, oven and cooktop, full-size fridge, a coffee machine, and plenty of bench space. There are 2 bathrooms throughout the house, the main bathroom with a shower and toilet, then there is a second bathroom off the fully equipped laundry with another shower and toilet.

This modern take on the classic roadside motel has a bold retro aesthetic and is located on Bangalow Road, 10 minutes from the Byron Bay township. A thoughtful renovation has elevated The Sunseeker to a design destination for the modern traveller and a much-loved holiday haven for young families. Theme and style decisions were driven by motel entrepreneurs Jess and Dave Frid and their collection of like-minded creative friends — a group of local makers, artists and designers. The red-brick façade — relatively untouched during renovations — reveals a tropical playground of designer digs and chic surf shacks bordering a lagoon-style pool, fire pit and tiki bar.

There are 12 motel-style rooms with striking interiors, six freestanding bungalows and a cool cabana bar beside the original kidney-shaped pebblecrete pool. The motel rooms are spacious, each with a patio or balcony, and are swathed in Byron-esque style with sandy-feet-friendly polished concrete floors, neutral palettes with pops-of-colour and beautiful bamboo bedding.

The row of family-friendly bungalows exudes a surf-village vibe with the Californian-style wooden shacks fashioned from recycled timber and fringed with greenery. Inside the uncomplicated but cleverly curated cabins there’s a queen bed, bunk bed nook with concertina door for privacy and a full kitchen boasting a hole-in-the-wall breakfast bench for fun family meals. Outside, there’s a private garden and deck, barbecue and alfresco claw-foot bath.

This terrace suite is located close to the most picturesque and biggest of all the resort pools and restaurant. Close to all the amenities, the terrace boasts genuine Lake glimpses from the downstairs living and one of the bedrooms and deck upstairs.

Light floods through your open living and kitchen with year round natural light, warm winter sun and cool summer sea breezes a wonderful feature and great for relaxing in both summer and winter. The ducted air-conditioning ensures your year round comfort.

Two completely upgraded and renovated modern bathroom ensuites are located off the 2 queen size bedrooms. Perfect for year round swimming, a covered and heated pool is also within the grounds of the resort and is great for when the weather doesn’t want to cooperate. Fairy-Wren 4 bedroom Cottage is unique within the resort in that it host 12 people in a 4 bedroom cottage in an ideal location close to the heated pool and a short walk to all the resort amenities.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, both with queen beds. This level also hosts the kitchen, laundry and main living area with wall mounted TV. The family bathroom and laundry with shower and toilet area, is also located on this floor.

Upstairs you will find one queen bed and two single bed/lounges. The enclosed loft area is a private area.

Downstairs you will find a large rumpus rooms which is connected by internal stairs to the main living area. This rumpus room also has 2 single beds, queen bed plus its own lounge/entertaining area.

The home has instantaneous gas hot water as well as a gas stove top for those who love to cook.

The balcony looks out on to the bushland and the cottage is close to the heated undercover pool. Parking is provided in the garage nearby.
